WHAT A HEALING WEEKEND IT WAS! – LESOTHO BY: MOSIEA SEBEKO

I was invited to attend a workshop onI was invited to attend a workshop onHealing of Memories on the 26th –28th April 2019. At first I felt like it wasone of those workshops I attended amillion times but to my surprise, thiswas unlike any of them. I wish to sharesome of my experiences with you.Please share your time with me.

I came to this workshop with a heart full of anger, hatred,I came to this workshop with a heart full of anger, hatred,bitterness, revenge and bad decisions. But surprisinglythese were hidden or suppressed feelings. Breakinginto small groups opened my mind. We started first bydrawing pictures reflecting how we feel deep inside andthen interpret our drawings. People came up with differentdrawings which expressed their memories-well thosecannot be shared here, sorry. However, I realized howdamaged we are and how much we have lived in hell.Painful enough, we chose to live in hell!

God works wonders! After the discussions, I felt like theGod works wonders! After the discussions, I felt like theheavy load on my shoulders had been unloaded. I feltlike a new person; I was indeed resurrected! I also feltreconnected with God. You know, there are things whichwe really need to let go. We need to let go of the feelingsof bitterness, hatred, revenge, jealousy, anger and manyothers because those are the feelings that separate us....
